Giving Options
We give to the Lord, not out of compulsion, but out of thanks for all he has done for us. We saw in our stewardship campaign that the Lord encourages regular, proportional, sacrificial giving. Here are your options to give financially, aside from the Sunday morning offering plate.
Option 1: Mail a check
You can always mail your check to the church. Perhaps wrap it in paper or use a banker's envelope so it's not too obvious what's inside:
Make the check out to "St. Matthew Lutheran Church".
You can designate "regular offering" in the memo line.
Mail the check to:

Pros of this method: It's easy and free.
Cons: It's easy to forget. It's a little bit of a hassle to write and mail the check.

Option 2: Set up a regular payment with your bank. This is the best option.
Many banks offer automatic bill pay services. You can use this to set up an automatic check being sent every month to the church. Contact your bank or check its website for more details.
Pros: This is free and automatic. You decide what is the right amount, set it, and don't have to remember every week.
Cons: It is a little more complicated to set up. But we're only talking a few extra minutes and perhaps a phone call. With many banks, for example Chase, you can set up the whole thing online using your bill pay feature in two or three minutes.

Option 3: EasyTithe
EasyTithe is one of the top church online giving platforms, and it’s safe, secure, and easy to use. EasyTithe works by partnering with St. Matthew to process electronic donation methods including credit, debit, and eChecks (ACH). However, to encourage responsible stewardship, St. Matthew has chosen to limit giving options to debit and eChecks only.
Pros: It's easy and it can be regular, similar to the automatic bank payments Cons: It is not free. Last month we paid them about $170. How to set up EasyTitheFor your convenience, you can give using easyTithe in two different ways:
