Home Worship 7/5

THE WORD AND SONG
This week if you are looking to worship at home, I recommend these services to you.

If you didn't already use it, here's the Good Friday themed service we used at St. Matthew back in April.  The music is too contemporary for some, but I really enjoyed it.

If you already used that service, you could follow this Good Friday service from Cross of Christ, Boise:

https://cocidaho.org/sermons/the-cross/

You could also watch the service from The Vine, which is following his current sermon series:

Eventually we want to post our St. Matthew services online, but we haven't figured out a way to do it with a high audio and video quality. We're looking into what type of camera and microphone setup would be needed to produce a high quality video. I don't want to produce a low-quality video with a phone. Let me know if you'd like to help with that.

God bless your home worship!
THE CREED
Try to recite the Nicene Creek from memory. Learn more about it from this video.

OFFERING
At this time you may write a check and mail it church, as described on this page, which also tells you how to set up online giving. Thank you to all those who have kept giving!

CONNECTION CARD SUBSTITUTE
Call a friend, pray for your brothers and sisters at church, like a post on our Facebook page, or come up with some other creative way to connect to your church family this week.

PRAYERS
  • Chuck and Jean Johnson. Chuck is in the hospital and not doing well.
  • Lovice Thaemert as she recovers from hip surgery.
  • I suggest ending with the Lord's prayer. Pause and reflect on the meaning of each line.

THE SACRAMENT
Please let me know if you desire a private communion service. I'm more than happy to conduct one for you at your home or at church. It's part of my job, please don't hesitate to ask if you would like the sacrament.
